Frequently asked questions
Last updated 6 August 2026
Where are you based?
67 High Street, Laleston, CF32 0HL.
What are your working hours?
I don't have set hours and days, so if you message or email me I might not respond straight away. I aim to get back to everyone within 48 hours, sometimes this may be longer.
How much are your cakes?
Celebration cakes are priced based on size, design, flavour and so on. To give you an idea on where they start from, all sizes would be made up of 3 layers of sponge:
- 6” from £70, 28+ servings
- 8” from £85, 42+ servings
- 10” from £105, 60+ servings
Add a 4th layer of sponge, ideal for those wanting tall cakes, for an extra £10.
Serving sizes will vary depending on how you cut your cake, but for children's parties or wedding cakes you can usually get double the amount of servings quoted above.
Wedding cakes are bespoke and priced based on design and size, so please get in touch to discuss your date and venue. There is an additional charge for delivery and set up.
How do I get my cake home safely?
Please make sure you follow these instructions, as I cannot be held responsible for anything that happens to the cake once you have collected it.
- Carry the cake from underneath, making sure you are not pushing the sides of the box in.
- I recommend putting the cake in the passenger side footwell of your car with the air con on.
- Once home, place the cake in the fridge until needed. Buttercream does not like heat, so it will melt or go really soft if left out for hours.
Do you make any gluten free, dairy free or vegan products?
Definitely. Some say my vegan brownies are the best they've ever had.
I handle gluten, dairy, nuts and most allergens in my kitchen, but when making anything with specific requirements I make sure there is nothing present.
Please get in touch to discuss when ordering, so I can make sure we schedule it in for a time when nothing is present. There is more detail on the allergens page.
What flavours do you offer?
I have a list of flavour ideas on the menu, but if there is something else you'd like, please just ask.
Please also check out the boring bits for more information.
