Allergens

Draft. Leah needs to confirm this wording before go-live.
Baked in a home kitchen
Every order is made by hand in my own home kitchen in Laleston. That kitchen handles gluten, dairy, eggs and nuts, along with other common allergens, and it is not a segregated production space.
Cross-contamination cannot be excluded
Because of that, I cannot guarantee any bake is free from traces of gluten, dairy, eggs or nuts. This applies to gluten free and vegan orders too. I take real care to use separate ingredients, clean equipment and clean surfaces, and to schedule those bakes when nothing else is being made, but traces cannot be ruled out.
If you or your guests have a diagnosed allergy or coeliac disease, please think carefully about whether that level of risk is acceptable to you before ordering.
Tell me before you order
Please raise any allergy or dietary requirement when you first get in touch, not after the order is placed. It affects what I can make, which ingredients I buy and when I can bake it, so I need to know up front.
The fourteen regulated allergens
UK law lists fourteen allergens that have to be declared: celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame, soya, and sulphur dioxide or sulphites. Ask me about any specific bake and I will tell you exactly what is in it.
Ingredients and labelling
Full ingredient information is available for anything I make. Just ask when you order and I will send it over, or write it on the box.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, please get in touch before ordering.
